Plot Pole and Safes

Guys, a question.
Say I have a plot pole lay down and a base, with safes included, already built but I want to build in a new location. So I take out the plot pole

¿What happens to my safe? ¿Does it stay or dissapear?

but you should better move fast, someone else could place his plotpole there
